the HandEra 330 and TRGpro™
pda handheld.
| The HandEra 330 from Hand Era (formally TRG Pro) adds new dimensions to the Palm OS platform. The HandEra 330 is 5.4 oz. and has a 16 Gray scale, analog resistive touch screen with a 240 x 320 QVGA high resolution screen. The 330 allows for CF,SD, and MMC cards. The 330 also allows for 360 degree rotation of a screen image with special applications. Other features include high visibility blue-green backlight, the use of both AAA alkaline batteries and lithium-ion batteries, Jog wheel, microphone and an internal amplifier and speaker. Of course, all software developed by PCS runs seamlessly on this unit. |

The TRGpro™ is the first
handheld computer to incorporate the Palm Computing Platform with a
commercially available industry standard feature CompactFlash™
Type I/II card slot. Aside from pre existing applications, such as
modems, gps, ethernet cards etc., the ability to use the CompactFlash™
slot allows PCS to design custom applications that may require up to 340MB
of additional memory. This enormous increase in memory over standard
Palm Computing devices allows for custom applications to incorporate
relatively large data files for use in the field. For example, PCS
can now develop a custom medical application that needs to access, on the
TRGpro™, tens of thousands of medical procedures
and the codes associated with those procedures. |
| The TRGpro™ comes with the standard Palm organizer applications, including: Datebook, Address Book, Mail, To-Do List, Memo Pad, Expense, Calculator, Security and HotSync™ technology. All PCS custom developed applications will look and perform identically in the TRGpro™ as in all other Palm Computing devices. |

The TRGpro™ comes standard with 8MB of EDO DRAM and 2MB FLASH containing the Palm OS and built-in applications. In addition, the TRGpro™ accepts industry standard CompactFlash™ devices. |
